Hi, I'm Tristan. I'm a teacher first.
I've spent 16 years in Australian classrooms, and I still teach senior English today. I didn't leave the classroom to tell teachers what to do. I'm doing the job alongside you.
I started what's now the Hub back in 2020, because I kept seeing the same thing: good teachers drowning in tools, PD that never connected to Monday morning, and nobody filtering the noise.
So that became my job. I test EdTech and AI tools in real lessons, keep the ones that genuinely earn their place, and turn them into something you can pick up and use.
That work has been recognised with the Leading Teacher EdTech Training Initiative 2025 and Leading Teacher-Led EdTech Innovation Provider 2026 (Australia) awards from the Corporate Vision Education & Training Awards. I hold a Bachelor of Education (K-12) from Charles Sturt University.
But the thing I'm proudest of is simpler: great teaching always comes first. Technology's job is to support it, never to replace it. And when you're ready to share what you've learned with other educators, I'll show you how I did it.

Who is the Empowered Educator Hub for?
Primary and secondary teachers at any stage, from pre-service to experienced, plus casual relief teachers and school leaders. If you want to use EdTech and AI with more confidence and less time, it's for you.
I'm not very tech-savvy. Will I keep up?
Yes. Start with EdTech Essentials, which assumes nothing. Every walkthrough shows the tool in a real classroom context, step by step. You're not behind, you just haven't had someone filter the noise for you yet.
I barely have time as it is. How much time does this take?
As much or as little as you want. Everything's on demand, so you can grab one template or watch one recording when you need it. Most members use the Hub to save planning time, not add to it.
What if I join and don't end up using it?
Fair question, and it happens with plenty of subscriptions. That's why there's no lock-in. If it's not earning its place, cancel anytime.
Why not just use free YouTube videos?
YouTube is great at showing features. It's not great at telling you which tool is worth it, or how to use it with 28 students and a 50-minute period. The Hub is the tested, classroom-ready version, plus templates, prompt packs and people to ask.
How does billing work?
You're charged $49 AUD when you join and get immediate access to everything. Your membership then renews automatically every 30 days until you cancel.
Can I cancel anytime?

There are no free trials or refunds, as the Hub is a month-to-month membership you can cancel anytime.
Is the content live or self-paced?
Both. The library is on demand, and new masterclasses are added every month.
